 “Educational Administration and Supervision” is basically a book that caters to the interest of the readers in the field of administration, supervision, financing and management perspectives of education. It indicates about the styles of administration and supervision in different stages of education in the country.

This book also highlights that any educational institution depends on its own form of educational administration and supervision. The institution also depends on the types of financing, supervision techniques, planning, evaluation and leadership style etc. Therefore, the roles of educational administration in different dimensions have compared with the functions of our heart. The book also has been written in a simple language and would prove highly useful for the readers.


About the Author

Dr. Keisham Shitaljit Singh (M.A. and Ph.D. from Kurukshetra University) is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Education, Manipur University. He has published seventy five research papers in different aspects of education in numerous reputed National and International Journals of Education and Psychology and he recently published twelve articles in different UGC CARE List Group I Journals and UGC Group II SCOPUS Active Journals. He also contributed in various edited books. His published books include ‘Moderators of Leadership Behaviour among Principals’ (2009), ‘Educational Philosophies and Thinkers: Western and Indian’ (2010), ‘Principles and Development of Education in India: A Successful Guideline to the Learners’ (2011), ‘Educational Guidance for Backward Students’ (2012), ‘Social Awareness Based on Education’ (2013), ‘Educational and Vocational Guidance: A Special Reference to Scheduled Tribe Students’ (2014), ‘Public Awareness Based on HIV and AIDS’ (2015), ‘Contemporary Education in India: Special Emphasis on New Innovations’ (2016), ‘Culture and Thoughts of Education in India: Present and Past’ (2017) and ‘Sociological and Philosophical Approaches of Education in India’ (2019) .

Dr. Singh has been conferred the award of “The Best Educational Psychology” by the IPERA, Patna in 2009 and in the same year, he was also awarded “Rashtriya Vidya Saraswati Puraskar” by the IIEM, New Delhi. He has completed two major UGC projects and one ICSSR major research project. He has produced successful five awarded Ph.D. scholars. The author also presented an article on leadership in the prestigious Hawaii International Conference on Education, Hawaii; U.S.A. from the 6th to 11th January 2013 and he took the chair of the session.
